All Star Tutorial Bundle Blog Hop - July 2020

I made this card for my lovely neighbours who celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary yesterday. Since I am on maternity leave, I enjoy going outside for walks and enjoy the nice vitamin D! On our daily walks, my son and I meet and talk with our neighbours. As we were discussing our 'cancelled' wedding this summer, she told me she was celebrating her 50th anniversary with her husband! I took a mental note to make her a card and stop in for a short visit on our next walk. Even though the sentiments from the Prized Peony are not meant to 'celebrate' big events, I paired it with the Well Said stamp set (the French one - Si Bien Dit). 

I used the same technique I demonstrate in my Paper Sampler Tutorial with Calypso Coral. The leaves are die-cuts of Pear Pizzazz (I lightly sponged the detailed part to give it dimension with matching ink). A strip of the Peony Garden DSP to fill up the card. I heat embossed with White on Basic Gray, added a bit of the Gray Granite Shimmer ribbon and those amazing Elegant Faceted Gems to complete this card.
