Coast to Coast Creators Blog Hop - December 2023

Christmas is in 10 days!

This was not the card I had planned, but it was gorgeous as is, so I left it.

Welcome to December's Coast to Coast Creators Blog Hop!

Did you know every Stampin’ Up!®️ catalogue has a special host stamp set you can get as part of your Stampin' Rewards?

This September - December Mini Catalogue had an exclusive stamp set that really caught my eye because I knew I wanted my Christmas cards to be inspired by dried oranges and pinecones. This stamp set had EXACTLY that!

The Framing Foliage Host Stamp

Framing Foliage Host Stamp Set, Stampin’ Up!®️, Retiring List

I stamped the image with Early Espresso ink on Basic White cardstock because I knew I wanted to colour it in with our Stampin' Blends, which are alcohol based markers.

The colours I used are:
  • Shaded Spruce Combo
  • Sweet Sorbet Combo
  • Pretty Peacock Combo
  • Deep Combo Pack (SU100 & SU300)
  • Cherry Cobbler Combo
  • Old Olive Combo
  • Pumpkin Pie Combo
You can watch me make this card on my Facebook Page, here. I go Live every Tuesday evening at 8 pm Atlantic Time. Make sure to follow me to get notified when I go Live and get more inspiration whenever I share my projects.

I used the gold sequins from the Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins pack to embellish.

Everything was mounted on a Crumb Cake card base.

Easy, simple stamping. I like to think of it as adult colouring.

I am curious to know, do you have a favourite stamp set you like to colour using the Blends or Watercolour Pencils? Let me know in the comments!

Remember, today only is a FREE SHIPPING day with any 100$ order. Make sure you take advantage of this deal! You might want to check out the Retiring List too.

Let's make this world a better place one handmade card at a time.
